SuperTube is a Chrome extension that customizes how YouTube is displayed: it applies your default search filters, hides videos from channels you blocklist, removes suggestion shelves, and offers grid and list layouts for search results. It operates exclusively on youtube.com pages.
SuperTube does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any user data. Specifically, it does not collect:
The extension contains no analytics, no telemetry, no tracking pixels, and no third-party data services.
Your preferences - default search filters, channel blocklist, view mode, sidebar width and feature toggles - are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the extension deletes it.
SuperTube loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts for its interface panel. No user data is attached to this request beyond what any standard font request includes. No other external service is contacted.
SuperTube collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date. Since the extension collects nothing, changes are unlikely.
